It's easy for her to take life one day at a time and treat each day as a gift, even during her low times. She may seem like the perfect woman, but she has her flaws. One flaw is that she always pretends to be younger than she is. Whenever someone asks, instead of lying, she'll evade the question as long as possible. Despite people telling her she'll age gracefully, Reina is terrified they're wrong. Although she's put her partying past behind her, she's afraid her punishment will be aging quickly and horribly. Don't even try to argue with Reina about religion; if you do, you'll be sorry. Although she grew up Catholic, she was saved after she gave up partying. Despite not attending mass or believing much of the ideas of the Catholic church, Reina still carries around a rosary and does the sign of the cross.  Family and friends are a big part of Reina's life, but she pretends in front of most of them. Just so they won't worry about her she'll conceal her fears and insecurities, even though this sometimes makes certain "friends" jealous of her because they think nothing can get to her. Perhaps this time on the island will eventually break down the walls Reina has built up. But don't let any of this make you forget the fact that Reina is a stubborn woman, too. She's not afraid to fight for what she believes in and she won't think twice about defending someone she respects.  This woman also loves to have fun. She never misses a chance to party (the safe way now, that is) and she loves any excuse to dress up or go shopping. She also loves introducing people to her culture; it makes her feel close to home. Be wary of flirting with her, she can flirt right back. Just be respectful, or you'll get stepped on with a high heel and maced in the face.  Helping people is something she loves to do and she never wants anyone feeling left out. Coming from a big family, she knows how to handle a crowd (especially a rowdy one). Having four brothers has taught her how and when to fight, and having five sisters has taught her patience (though she's still working on it to this day). Even though she loves her career and wouldn't trade it for anything, she regrets not being able to go to university. If she ever has children, she's vowed that they will be able to attend such a high place of education. History: On a hot summer day -the 27th of July, to be exact- Reina Adelita Ramirez was born in a small village in Colombia. She was the oldest of five sisters and four brothers, so it was no surprise that she helped her mom around the house when she was old enough. Although she loved her village, Reina wanted something more. She yearned for adventure but she could never find the right opportunity to find it as a career. Then one day when she was seventeen, she went with her family to pick her uncle up at the airport. While they waited for his flight to get in, Reina talked to a flight attendant and learned what it takes to become one, and all the different places a flight attendant goes to. Reina's eyes lit up but her mother quickly discouraged such fantasies... Until she learned about the salary. Reina knew her mother couldn't say no after that and she'd always wanted to give her family more; this was the perfect way! Once she finished secondary school, she moved to America to become a flight attendant. Thanks to her job, she was able to help save up enough money to send one of her siblings to university.  It was just another ordinary flight to the Bahamas booked in her flight schedule, but little did Reina know that soon she'd be helping people with their life-vests.
