Most of the time she is shy and won't know how to start a conversation because she's afraid of looking stupid. But she can keep up the conversation after awhile. When she gets to know someone, she's open and confident and seems like a different person. She's extremely kind and caring, but she's often afraid to express just how kind she is because in her past she got yelled at for showing that she cared. She's not very trusting and therefore doesn't have any friends. She doesn't like to be that way, but she's afraid to give her heart out to anyone. When she does give it out, it's a rare gift that shouldn't be taken for granted. She loves to laugh and anyone who can make her laugh will quickly get her out of her protective shell. She's not afraid to take charge when she has to, and she's actually a great leader. If prompted, she can stick up for herself and not think twice. But it has to be something major to make her not let it slide. People might find it hard to believe she's on the introverted side once they see her as a leader. She loves mermaids. Seriously, a lot of people say she has a problem. But she loves their innocence, beauty, and the fact that they're always happy and free. She's always loved the water; it's where she's felt the most at home all her life. She also enjoys acting and singing and hopes to one day star in movies or Broadway. She's in-tune with her emotions. She is just growing out of her hypoglycemia and slight anxiety disorder, but they can sometimes come back with a vengeance. History: Melody comes from a rich family of investors. She was born and raised in Palm Beach but always had a rocky relationship with her parents. An only child, Melody often found herself wishing she had an older brother; especially when her parents divorced. Her relationships with friends were always rocky, as well. They either betrayed her or she never allowed herself to get close to possible new friends. The ocean was always Melody's escape and she went to the beach every chance she got. After graduating college with degrees in psychology and theatre, Melody decided she wanted to take a year or two to just stay at her job at the most popular nail salon in Palm Beach. She'd had the job since she was sixteen and it paid good money, so she was able to move into her own place during her junior year of college.
